Carnival to Ban Bottled Beverages Onboard:
Effective on sailings on or after July 9, 2015 guests will be prohibited from brining alcoholic beverages on board with the following exceptions: During embarkation day, guests (21 years of age or older) may carry on in their hand luggage, one 750 ml bottle of sealed wine or champagne per person. A corkage fee of $15.00 will be charged per 750 ml bottle if guest wish to consume their wine or champagne in the main dining room, specialty restaurant or bar.
Guest are also prohibited from bringing bottled water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages on board that are packed in bottles. A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought on board on embarkation day, but only if carried on in guest’ hand luggage (not checked luggage) . The amount allowed to be brought on board is 12 sealed cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per-person. Any liquor, beer, or other forms of alcoholic beverage, and non-alcoholic beverages will be strictly prohibited. Any prohibited items will be confiscated and discarded and no compensation will be provided.
